Prayer of the People 

Saturday is here!  I love this day because it is my day to rest.  It is also the day that bring us to the end of the book of James.  

James ends with some more discussion on prayer.  Enjoy this last bit of reading and our video.  

Read: James 5:13-20

Questions to Consider:

1.     Often praying out loud is the hardest way to pray, but this is the best way to pray for each other.  Why do you think individuals are nervous to pray out loud?  

2.    Has there been a time in your life in the last year when you felt like you should pray with someone but you didn’t?  Has there been a time when you did pray with someone? How did these experiences shape you? 

Activity for the Day: What is your prayer as we end the Book of James? Do you have a prayer of suffering? A prayer of joy? A prayer for the sick? I encourage you to write out a special prayer today and read it out loud to God.
